You direct the client relationships – in that you are the senior person in charge of a sizeable portfolio of customers where the day to day account activity is delivered by your team. Owning and being accountable for the agency relationship with clients means you deal with bigger accounts personally and manage their requirements. You plan the approach to retaining the customer by driving performance in their marketing spend with us.
– You work jointly with Sales and Digital Marketing Managers to build plans that deliver best results from budget and an activity plan for each brand.
– You analyse the data and plan the test & learn activity to drive incremental performance gains which are executed by your team. Your team create the customer reports and you may chair the monthly meetings with those largest customers to best direct and serve the customer’s needs using the data to evidence and prove our worth and ROI delivery.
-You manage, mentor and support your PPC team by master-planning their work to ensure the successful scoping, design, implementation and refinement of all PPC related digital marketing activities. • You are the optimisation expert and are expected to know the PPC strategy, account and campaign detail and how to deliver it using the full range of Google AdWords and Bing products, settings and extensions. The person:
– At least three years running multi account PPC activity for multiple customers where you have worked leading a team delivering demonstrable success. This is likely to have been in an agency but could have been client side.
– Must have a strong understanding of PPC to a level of expert fluency.
– Detailed knowledge of specialist bid management platforms such as Marin or Kenshoo would be desirable
– Required is an ability to plan activity across paid, earned and owned media. You don’t have to be an SEO specialist but you do need to know how to align your work very tightly with SEO, Social, Content and programmatic display.
– You have consummate client skills to agree and manage the interactions with customers. You are completely at ease in dealing 121 with MDs’ and CEOs’ of our SME customers and that means managing your promises and your delivery against them.
